Four simple steps to making ice-cream

900 ml of milk
6 Egg yolks
300 grams of Sugar

Step one Bring milk to boil.
Step Two In a bowl, beat egg yolks and sugar.
Step Three Add beaten egg yolks and sugar to milk and leave to cool.
Step Four When cool add flavour of choice, blend well and place in freezer till firm.

With this simple Ice-cream base you can produce many different flavours, why not try a few of our ideas?

Coffee When still warm simply add instant coffee powder to desired taste.
Amaretto Add 15 grams of crumbled Amaretto biscuit, and stir in gently.
Chocolate While boiling base mix add 2oz of Cocoa Powder and stir in well ( Why not try chopping your favourite chocolate bar and adding prior to freezing)
Strawberry Add 1 pint of fresh strawberry's sliced. Add 1/3 of a cup of sugar and juice of half a lemon.
Cover and refrigerate for one hour, blend strawberrys into puree and add to ice cream base, leave to freeze till firm.
